Some of the advantages to exercising in a physical therapy pool include buoyancy, resistance , hydrostatic pressure and warmth which allows patients to achieve movements unattainable on land due to pain, or the inability to bear weight. Our Aquatic Therapy Program allows our patients to achieve immediate rehabilitative results while carrying as little as 0% of their body weight underwater.
